Dear Pete,
I hope you remember Jane and I because you were the most memorable person we met on our entire five-week holiday.
You were a total professional and a complete gentleman. Your love and knowledge of the area, plants, animals and insects were amazing. You shared your education, humor and stories with us throughout the entire day. You had a gentleness about you coupled with strength, integrity, honesty and independence that created one of the most charismatic individuals we ever met in our lives.
You led us out of our comfort zone with patience and leadership. We licked the bum of green ants, ate berries that made our tongues blue and others that made limes taste sweet. All the while stopping in your favourite 'photo galleries' so we ended up with wonderful mementoes of our day with 'Crocodile Dundee'.
Jane and I both agree, we learned a lot, had a ton of fun and a fabulous time. It was the best day of the entire vacation. You are one individual we truly hope we meet again someday.

Dear Pete,
Some photos of our memorable day at Cape Tribulation. Thank you for opening our eyes, sharing your knowledge of nature, deepening our respect for Aboriginal culture, putting us through a tough workout, leaving us time to play and sharing your warm personality and wealth of stories.
We will remember this great day always.

Kind regards, Rob & Chris Waltham

We just told the gent at the White Cockatoo the truth... and he SHOULD sent some biz your way... your guests will not be disappointed!!
... and we would somehow love to spend more time with you if that at all could work out! You're amazing!

Dear Pete,
We wanted to share these photos with you and thank you for our day in the wild. It was great fun being with you and we learned so much.
Patrick and Tommy were both a big hit in their classes when they showed everyone their toothbrushes. There was a show on Discovery Channel last week about New Guinea. They made homemade lemonade with green ants. It made us want to do it again!! -- thanks again.

Hi Pete,
As a local, you pretty much think you've experienced it all when it comes to tourism, not so, after my time spent with you on this unique Heritage Tour. A wealth of information and explorative fun opened my eyes to this very special environment in which we live. This is an absolute must when visiting North Queensland.

PS: We must not forget to mention the unforgettable mouth watering, never seen or tasted before, ' Homemade Heritage Tour Cookies.'

Hello Pete,
We had a great time in Australia and your tour was, of course, one of the highlights. We are back in the US and I will never look at ants in the same way as I have in the past.

Dear Safari Pete:
I wanted to write to you before the memories fade to say how very much I enjoyed our expedition with you a couple of weeks ago. What a unique and wonderful day it was.
It is too easy these days to stay within the limited comfort zone of city and computer. With your knowledge, humour, humanity, respect for the land and its original people you reminded me of my country's extraordinary history and spirituality.
One other thing: that magical swimming hole in the river was a real glimpse of childhood lost. Suddenly I was a ten-year-old redheaded kid covered in freckles again....I thank you for that memory, too.
So, Pete, you didn't just take us into the Daintree.... You took me out of myself and back to somewhere and something very precious and that is a rare gift indeed.

Dear Pete,
Thanks a lot for a unique experience, in which we enjoyed not only the amazing rainforest, but also your extraordinary and unforgetable guidance. I never saw myself eating green ants and termites, but with your company, it seemed only natural.
Even after my 4 days 'convention' with sharks at the Outer Reefs of GBR, I can't forget a single moment from our trip. Thanks a lot, and see you next time (in which I'll bring my entire family!),

Hello Pete and Trish,

We are now all back in the States sound and safe. (Unfortunately, that also means we are now back to work!!)
Here are some of the photos taken last Tuesday. Trish, thanks for the wonderful meal. The salad was awesome.
